Tennessee vs. Kansas Prediction and Odds for Friday, November 25 (Back Jayhawks as Underdogs in Battle 4 Atlantis)

The Battle 4 Atlantis title game pits two titans of college basketball this season, including the defending National Champions.

Kansas has had a thrilling start to their National Championship defense, rallying to beat Duke and more recently Wisconsin so far. Now, they face one of the best defensive teams in the country in Tennessee on Friday in the Battle 4 Atlantis Championship game.

Both teams went to overtime on Thanksgiving, will they have enough in the tank to grab a win and lift the trophy of this Multi-Team Event?

Kansas enters as a rare underdog in this spot, and I disagree with this line as I think KU presents enough firepower to outduel Tennessee's defense.

Tennessee's offense is a big concern for me in this one as they are likely going to be without Josiah-Jordan James again in this one, who has been nursing an injury during the trip to this MTE. The team has an effective field goal percentage of 46.1% (287th in the country) and is below average in turnover rate.

Kansas meanwhile is above average both inside and outside the arc this season and has a veteran ball handler in Dajuan Harris who has an assist rate north of 30%. While the team lost big man David McCormack and wing Ochai Agbaji to name a few from the National Championship team, Jalen Wilson has come into his own as a stretch four and Texas Tech transfer Kevin McCullar junior has bolstered this defense.

KU is a versatile group that can win with both their offense and their defense while I think this Vols offense is going to hold them back with thier lack of perimeter shooting so far.
