Tennessee and Missouri meet in SEC play on Saturday afternoon.

Both teams enter off of road losses, Tennessee against Florida while Missouri dropped an overtime game to Boston College.

How should we play this one? Let’s start with the odds from WynnBET Sportsbook.

Total: 65 (Over -110/Under -110)

Missouri vs. Tennessee Prediction and Pick

I played the over 64.5 in this one earlier in the week, and would play this up to 66.

Tennessee does have some questions in regards to injuries, but this will be a great opportunity for first year coach Josh Heupel to implement his tempo offense and find success after struggling against a more physical Florida team on the road. It does appear that Hendon Hooker is going to be ready to go at quarterback this weekend. Heupel said Wednesday that the quarterback has practiced this week

Both teams play inside the top 30 in plays per minute this season with the Vols being No. 1 in the country. Missouri’s defense can’t stop the run whatsoever, allowing more than six yards per carry and is allowing a touchdown on more than 83% of red zone drives.

Tennessee is top 50 in the country in offensive rush success and should be able to crush Missouri on the ground all afternoon.

On the other side of the coin, Missouri has scored 30 or more in all but one game this season, which was a road game on the road against a stout Kentucky defense (still scored 28 points).

The team is throwing on more than 58% of plays and finding great success, completing more than 69% of passes behind quarterback Connor Bazelak.

Tennessee is uninspiring defending through the air, allowing opponents to complete 64% of passes, and post an average havoc and defensive success rate.

Both teams can attack the opposing defense and play with pace, leading me to this over in a likely shootout.

Pick: Over 65, play to 66
