Lovie Smith is coming back to Chicago as the Head Coach of the 0-1-1 Texans and his team is a three point dog to the Bears on Sunday. Right now, we’re not worried about taking a side in this one, instead we’re just looking for our favorite props. These are a few that I like to give you a little more action on this game.

Best Prop Bets for Texans vs. Bears

  • Justin Fields Under 169.5 passing yards
  • Dameon Pierce Anytime Touchdown +160
  • Nico Collins Over 37.5 Receiving Yards

Justin Fields Under 169.5 Passing Yards

Do you know who is 32nd in the NFL in passing attempts after two weeks. No it’s not Justin Fields, it’s Dak Prescott. Fields is No. 33 in pass attempts even though Prescott got hurt in Week 1, he still threw more in that game than Field has in two. 11 attempts last week is not enough for a young quarterback to develop, but this new staff in Chicago has shown no desire to develop Fields. I think Ryan Poles and Matt Eberflus are already ready to move on from him and they will rely heavily on David Montgomery.

Dameon Pierce Anytime Touchdown +160

Pierce went from 11 carries in Week 1 to 15 in Week 2 and that number is only going to increase as we go through the season. He hasn’t been able to punch one into the end zone so far, but he will today and this could be the last time he is plus odds on an anytime TD prop. Pierce will be a legitimate workhorse back for a team that needs to run the ball.

Nico Collins Over 37.5 Receiving Yards

Collins had four grabs for 58 yards a week ago and while Brandon Cooks is Davis Mills’ No. 1 target, it seems like Collins is emerging as the clear No. 2. Cooks is more of the deep threat for this offense which is not the guy you want against the Matt Eberflus defense. Eberflus’s mentality is to play deep safeties and to keep everything in front of them. That will give Collins room underneath.
