Texas State vs. Coastal Carolina Prediction, Odds, Against the Spread and Over/Under for College Football Week 12
By Matt De Saro
The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers are 8-2 and currently in a battle for the Sun Belt East division with both Georgia State and Appalachian State. Coastal Carolina and Georgia State are currently tied with 4-2 records in the conference while the Mountaineers lead the division with a 5-1 record. The Chanticleers are coming off a brutal 42-40 loss to Georga State last week and lost the tiebreaker if the two end the year atop the division together.
The Chanticleers have only one chance to make the championship game at this point. They need to win out against Texas State this weekend South Alabama next weekend. Also, Georgia State must lose once and the Mountaineers twice. A slim chance to happen but anything is possible.

Texas State vs. Coastal Carolina Prediction and Pick
A slim chance is still a chance and Costal Carolina will be clinging to theirs with all they have left. They got roughed up by the last team they wanted to lose to last week and will be seeking a bounce back spot here. CCU’s quarterback Bryce Carpender did his part last week with 17 completions for 233 yards and a touchdown. He added 12 yards on 17 carries. Braydon Bennet took on the role of the bell cow for the game and ran for 128 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries.
Texas State just doesn't have the roster or the skills to keep up with this team for four quarters. I think CCU goes off and leaves Texas State in the dust.
Pick: Coastal Carolina -23.0 (-110)
