Texas Tech held on to avoid a massive upset against Oklahoma on Friday night and now will turn their attention to the Big 12 Championship game against Kansas.

The Big 12 regular season champions Kansas are in the mix for a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament, but first have to knock off the Red Raiders and the nation's top defense in the Big 12 title game.

These two split the season series with each home team winning, who can win the season series? Here are the odds from WynnBET Sportsbok:

Texas Tech vs. Kansas Odds, Spread and Total

Spread:

  • Texas Tech: +2.5 (-110)
  • Kansas: -2.5 (-110)

Moneyline:

  • Texas Tech: +120
  • Kansas: -145

Total: 134.5 (Over -110/Under -110)

Texas Tech vs. Kansas Prediction and Odds

This is a battle between two legitimate Final Four threats that thrive on one side of the ball.

The Texas Tech 'no-middle' defense is incredible difficult to decipher, but Kansas has two incredible wings that can create off the bounce in Ochai Agbaji and Christian Braun while also getting Remy Martin back from injury at point guard.

The Red Raiders defense is going to bring it, but can they score enough? This is the worst 3-point shooting team in Big 12 play but they make up for it with their physical play and generating free throw attempts. Kansas is last in league games in turnover rate, which can allow a pedestrian Tech offense to operate with some more freedom.

Mark Adams' team probably should've swept the season series against KU after nearly winning on the road in double overtime and I believe they are primed to get some revenge on the Jayhawks. They are the physical team and I wonder if the Jayhawks shallow frontcourt can struggle against the bruising Tech's forwards.

LEAN: Texas Tech +2.5
