Oklahoma State made it through their first test of the season in a competitive Big 12 last week, knocking off Baylor on the road by double digits.

Now the Cowboys look to stay unbeaten in conference play against a frisky Texas Tech team that has had a volatile season through five weeks. Will the Red Raiders bounce back after losing to Kansas State last week on the road?

Let's break down the odds from FanDuel Sportsbook:

Texas Tech vs. Oklahoma State Odds, Spread and Total

Texas Tech vs. Oklahoma State Betting Trends

  • Oklahoma State is 3-1 against the spread (ATS)
  • Texas Tech is 0-2 ATS on the road this season
  • Texas Tech is 4-1 to the OVER this season
  • Oklahoma State is 3-1 to the OVER this season

Texas Tech vs. Oklahoma State Prediction and Pick

This game should feature a ton of points between two teams that like to push the pace, each ranking inside the top 20 in plays per minute this season.

Oklahoma State, while known for their defense in recent years has become an offensive powerhouse as Spencer Sanders has seemingly taken the next step at quarterback. The Pokes are fifth in points per game this season at 47.8 against a relatively easy schedule and back it up by scoring more than three points per drive and posting nearly 6.5 yards per play.

They will face a Red Raiders defense that allowed nearly nine yards per carry last week to Kansas State and nearly eight yards per play. Sanders can do similar things that Adrian Martinez did to the TTU defense as a rusher. Martinez has a pair of 50+ yard rushes in the 37-28 K-State win.

This total has taken money and rightfully so, I'm not sold on the Oklahoma State defense just yet as Baylor moved the ball with ease against them, outgaining them by 1.5 yards per play in the 36-25 defeat, so this game may be a bit trickier than the line indicates for the Pokes.

I'll take Texas Tech to stay within the number as I think we are paying a premium to back OSU.
