The Texas Tech Red Raiders are currently undefeated, but will have their first big test this week when they go on the road to face the Texas Longhorns. Texas Tech has beaten Houston, FCS opponent Stephen F. Austin, and FIU. Now is the time to show what the Red Raiders can do.

After losing to Arkansas the week prior, Texas got a nice 58-0 rebound win over the Rice Owls last week. A question at quarterback can result in even more questions for any football team, so can the Longhorns settle on Casey Thompson or Hudson Card moving forward?

While the Red Raiders have been known for its quarterbacks in the past, they have an underrated running back in Tahj Brooks, who has averaged 8.5 yards per carry this season and should have a nice game against the Longhorns 184th-ranked rushing defense.

Although this is Texas Tech’s first real competition of the season, I think they can hang against Texas. I believe in Tech more than I believe in Texas. I’ll take the Red Raiders for the win!
