The 21-9 #21 Texas Longhorns notched a 79-76 home win over Kansas last month and will try to complete the season-sweep at Allen Fieldhouse when they take on the 24-6 #6 Kansas Jayhawks today at 3:00 PM CST.

Both teams are in a bit of a funk. Kansas has lost two of three and failed to cover in three straight while the Longhorns are 0-3-1 against the spread (ATS) in their last four.

The Jayhawks are tied with Baylor for the Big 12 Conference lead. Can they guarantee a season-share of the title in their final home game or will the Longhorns play spoiler?

Texas vs Kansas Prediction and Pick

Which version of the Texas offense are we going to get? Will it be the one that bludgeoned the Jayhawks in the paint in the first matchup on their way to 23 free throw attempts? Or will it be the one that Baylor locked down twice?

The Jayhawks have had their fair share of struggles, but the Longhorns have really struggled on the road. They're 3-8 ATS and their defense has collapsed of late. On the season, Texas is in the 95th percentile defensively but over the last five games, they'll fallen to the 15th. They've been poor at generating turnovers and Kansas, who turned the ball over 15 times in that first matchup, are in the 90th percentile in their last five at protecting the ball.

I think on the surface, this sounds like a time to back Texas. They beat Kansas already and the Jayhawks are coming off back-to-back close games against TCU, who Texas is better than.

But that means the oddsmakers want us to bet Texas. The line has moved from a 6-point spread to 6.5 just as I'm writing this, so big money is coming in on Kansas. The Longhorns are just 1-4 ATS as a road underdog and this is Kansas at home we're talking about.

Bill Self's teams always rebound from poor play. Ochai Agbaji hasn't been himself recently and I expect a big game today. It's the last game at Allen Fieldhouse of the year and Agbaji and the seniors' final home game. The atmosphere will be electric. Count on the Jayhawks to ride that momentum to get revenge and clinch a share of the Big 12 regular season title.

Pick: Kansas -6.5 (-110)
