While WynnBET Sportsbook does not offer home run odds for specific players, you can still bet on all these games as well as several other prop bet opportunities to cash in on.

Odds shown are consensus.

Home Run Picks for Opening Day 2022

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. - Toronto Blue Jays (+320) vs. Rangers

Guerrero is arguably the best home run hitter in the game and there isn’t a better way to show that than to start the season off with a homer. Guerrero Jr. hit 37 of his 48 home runs last season against righties. Jon Gray gave up 10 home runs last season to righties and will be in for a challenge with Guerrero’s power. I like last year’s AL MVP runner up to start the season off with a bang. -- Donnavan Smoot

Travis D'Arnaud  - Atlanta Braves (+600) vs. Reds

D'Arnaud does well against left handed pitching over his career, slugging 32 points higher against southpaws than righties and is hitting in an explosive lineup that plays in a hitter friendly park. I'll take a stab at the catcher going yard against Reiver Sanmartin, who is making his third career start. -- Reed Wallach

Mike Zunino – Tampa Bay Rays (+270) vs. Orioles

The Rays catcher could not be set up more favorably in their opening day matchup in the dome vs. Orioles left-hander John Means.

A season ago, he demolished lefties both home and away, but was even better inside the Trop. Via Fangraphs, Zunino had a ..880 slugging percentage (league average is just under half of that), with an ISO (isolated power) of .540 (league average is .140).

Means gave up 30 dingers a season ago and saw his ground ball percentage drop to 32.9%. He finished with a very solid 3.62 ERA, but advanced metrics he had a bit of luck along the way. He's very much in play to give up a long ball this afternoon. -- Ben Heisler
