As the golf world begins to prepare for the Open Championship on July 15th, we’re given a mid-week treat this Tuesday night as Phil Mickelson is teaming up with Tom Brady to take on Bryson DeChambeau and Aaron Rodgers in the fourth edition of "The Match."

WynnBET has released betting odds for the charity event, and it has DeChambeau and Rodgers set as the -180 favorite with Mickelson and Brady set as the +130 underdog.

Mickelson and Brady had teamed up before, for the second edition of The Match that was titled “Champions for Charity." They’ll look to avoid going 0-2, as they fell to a team made up of Tiger Woods and Peyton Manning their first time out as a team.

Mickelson has played in all three previous editions of "The Match," and he’s 2-1 in those competitions. He won the original, defeating Tiger Woods in extra holes in a 1 vs. 1 Match play. He then lost the aforementioned “Championship for Charity," but won the third edition of the event when he teamed up with Charles Barkley and defeated a partnership made up of Manning and Steph Curry.

Lefty was listed as the betting underdog all three times, and he finds himself in that spot once again. This time, it certainly could be for good reason.

Outside of his historic win at the PGA Championship in May, Mickelson has had a rough 2021 PGA Tour season. He ranks 153rd in total strokes gained, and has failed to get a top 10 finish outside of his major victory.

Meanwhile, DeChambeau is truly one of the best golfers in the world right now. He ranks fifth on the PGA Tour in total strokes gained, and has two wins on the season including the fall edition of the US Open.

DeChambeau also had the teammate advantage, as Rodgers is rumored to enter the event with a better handicap index than Brady. Rodgers' handicap is reportedly a 3.5, while Brady’s is around an 8.1.

Rodgers seems to debate that fact though, as he told Golf Magazine, “I don’t think Brady’s an 8. I’ve played with him, and he’s good.”

"The Match 4" is set to tee-off at 5 p.m. EST on Tuesday.
