We are just days are from the sixth edition of "The Match", a charity/exhibition golf event that features professional athletes competing in a round of golf.

The sixth edition of it, which is set to take place on June 1st, will be the first one that won't feature any professional golfers. Instead, four NFL quarterbacks will face-off in a 2v2 showdown. Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers will partner up to take on Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen. It's a match between the old vets against the young phenoms.

Let's take a look at the odds to win the event, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

The Match: Brady and Rodgers vs. Mahomes and Allen Odds

  • Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers -200
  • Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen +165

What is the Format for the Match 6?

A unique format will be played for the Match 6. The format is called "shamble".

All four golfers will hit tee-shots on every hole. Each team will choose which of their tee-shots they want to play, and then each golfer will play their own ball from there. The partner who finishes with the better score will have that score count for their team.

The challenge will also only be 12 holes long, instead of the usual 18.

How to Watch the Match 6?

TNT will be broadcasting the Match 6 for American audiences. Simulcasts will also air on truTV and HLN. The broadcast will begin at 6:30pm est, on Wednesday, June 1st.

The Match 6 Prediction

This will be Tom Brady's third appearance in the series, but he has yet to win one. He was partnered with Phil Mickelson in both the second and fourth editions of the Match. He lost to Tiger Woods and Peyton Manning the first time, and then to Aaron Rodgers and Bryson DeChambeau the second time.

Rodgers win was his only appearance in the series so far.

Brady could be in good form heading into this event, considering he (apparently) hit a hole-in-one while being filmed this week. I'll be honest though, I think it's fake. Brady's PR team has done these things several times before. They're geniuses, to be fair.

With all that being said, being broadcast playing a different sport brings nerves that Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes aren't used to. We saw that happen when Steph Curry and Peyton Manning were teamed up in an earlier edition. Brady having already done these things twice, and Rodgers having done it once, will give them the mental edge on top of their seemingly strong golfing ability edge.

I'll back the favorites in this charity event.

Pick: Tom Brady + Aaron Rodgers -200
