This Giants Stat Sums Up Their Poor Season
By Reed Wallach

Not much has gone right for the New York Giants this season, who entered Week 14 action at 4-8 with questions growing around head coach Joe Judge.
Starting quarterback Daniel Jones has been sidelined with a neck injury and the offense has continued to fall short of expectations. To illustrate how bad it's been for Big Blue this season, check out this stat:
In the final two minutes of the first half of their games this season:

Opponents: 59
New York Giants: 0
That is a real stat.
In the first half of this game the Giants looked in good shape to score for the first time this season in the final two minutes, but failed to score and also gave up one of the highlights of the weekend.
So, to review, the Giants had first down at LA's 41 with 1:40 left in the half. The Chargers have out-scored them 7-0 since.

The Giants inability to execute and score in the final two minutes is a microcosm of New York's struggles all season.
New York would end up falling on the road vs. the Chargers 37-21, as L.A. has now won five straight games vs. the G-Men. The Giants also failed to cover the 9-point road spread.
