The Chicago Bears have had a tumultuous season in the early part of the season, going through a quarterback change to Andy Dalton, then to rookie Justin Fields. While the Bears have looked good in some games, and not so good in others, Fields appears to be progressing under center.

Although Fields hasn’t exactly taken the league by storm, he has excelled in a few aspects of the game, and one of them is his ability to throw the deep ball.

The only problem is, Chicago's weak offensive line and head coach Matt Nagy’s offensive plays have limited Fields to a lot of checkdown passes and short yardage throws. Fields is averaging just 6.4 yards per throw, 31st in the NFL, just ahead of Miami Dolphins quarterback Jacoby Brisett.

After all, Fields will have to try and keep up with Aaron Rodgers, so the over on Fields' passing yards prop on WynnBET Sportsbook could be a safe bet this week.

The Green Bay Packers are without top cornerback Jaire Alexander, and the Bears are without top running back David Montgomery, so there is reason to believe that Fields will chuck the football around in Week 6.

Green Bay’s defense has allowed just 9.3 yards per completion in 2021, but in their first game without Alexander in the secondary last week, they allowed 10.2 yards per completion. That number could get even higher this week if Nagy lets Fields air it out against their rivals.
