This is the third article I’ve written today about the Chiefs and the Bills game, and honestly I don’t even care. I could write 20 pieces about this matchup. I’m #hyped. As a fan of football and a fan of betting, this game has the makings of all kinds of points and chaos. I am here for it.

The Bills just exorcised some demons

I don’t think it can be overstated how rough the Buffalo Bills and their loyal fans have had it. The Bills appeared in four straight Super Bowls in the Jim Kelly era from 1991-1994, and they lost all four of them. Since then, they haven’t made it back to the big game.

For two decades, they sat and watched as their division big brothers, the New England Patriots, went on to win the division year-after-year. Tom Brady owned them. He was an immovable force that they simply couldn’t get past. Brady led the Patriots to 17 AFC East titles in 19 years. The Bills never won it once.

Now it’s their turn. On Saturday night, it was as though the Bills were performing an exorcism in their demolition of the Patriots. They vanquished their demons, putting together one of the best offensive performances in NFL history. They scored seven touchdowns on seven straight drives. It was the only game in NFL history where a team did not kick a field goal or a punt, and also didn’t turn the ball over. They scored a touchdown every time they touched the ball until the last possession, where they kneeled the game out.

It was, quite frankly, the football equivalent of baseball’s perfect game.

The Bills and Chiefs get a rematch

Now, the Bills and Chiefs will move on to a rematch of last year’s AFC Championship Game, which sent the Bills home heartbroken 38-24. Both quarterbacks enter this game having thrown five touchdown passes in the previous round of the playoffs, which is the first time the league has ever seen that happen. WynnBET has the Chiefs set as 2.5-point home favorites.

The total has gone over in four of the last six Bills games, despite the frigid temperatures on Saturday night. On the other side of the ball, the Chiefs have gone over in their last six games as well. The Chiefs and Bills can both score a lot of points, with the Bills scoring the third-most points per game this year at 28.4 and the Chiefs are right behind them in fourth with 28.2.

This game is capable of putting up a scoring bonanza. After vanquishing their AFC East foes, the Bills will look to avenge their loss in the AFC Championship Game last year in what profiles to be another spectacular game.
