Royal St. George's is home to this year's 2021 Open Championship, and while several notable names have had to withdraw, the field still remains stacked.

The final major of the 2021 calendar doesn't tee off until Thursday, but a few golfers have already seen their odds move up across multiple sportsbooks. Jon Rahm remains the favorite to win his second consecutive Major at +700.

Here are some notable players at WynnBET who are already seeing upward movement on the oddsboard.

Xander Schauffele: +1400

Schauffele's opening odds were listed at +2000 as late as Sunday evening, but bettors are counting on the No. 5 World Golf Ranked player to once again step up his game in a major championship.

Schauffele has yet to take home a major, but his performances in the last several have been noteworthy. Aside from a missed cut at the 2021 PGA Championship at Kiawah Island, Schauffele has not missed a cut in a major since 2017. In his last three Open Championships, he's finished T41, T2, and T20.

Bettors are counting on Schauffele to improve his putting from the U.S. Open, where he lost nearly two strokes on the greens despite gaining more than 10 total strokes while finishing in 7th.

NOTE: Schauffele's odds on the WynnBET app are still listed at +1800 in New Jersey, Indiana or Colorado, presenting great value in those states.

Jordan Spieth +1700

Like Schauffele, Spieth has seen his number climb from +2800 at opening, to +2000 on Sunday, and now into the mid-to-high teens today.

Spieth has never missed a cut at The Open Championship, and has finished in the top-10 three times in seven appearances. He also remains the top player in the field in total strokes gained over his last 50 rounds.

From February on, Spieth has played some of the best golf of his career. He has seven top-10 finishes, six of them in the top-5 alone including a win at the Valero Texas Open in April. He's finished in the top-20 in his last two events (The Memorial and U.S. Open) and seems primed to be in contention for another Open Championship.

Viktor Hovland +2500

Hovland's odds at one point were as high as +6600, but have continued to move lower throughout the course of the season with several outstanding performances this year.

In 2021, Hovland has five top-5 finishes in 11 events, missing the cut just once at The PLAYERS Championship back in mid-March. His last action on Tour came during the U.S. Open, where he had to withdraw after getting sand in his eye from a shot in the bunker, causing a severe reaction.

The 23-year old Norwegian is rested and ready to return to another major, where he has put up outstanding results in his young career. Hovland has never missed a cut in five career opportunities (aside from the W/D at the 2021 U.S. Open), and ranks third in the field in strokes gained: total, as well as fifth in SG: off-the-tee.
