The Oklahoma City Thunder are in full tank mode, and they need another loss on Sunday to potentially finish with better odds for a top four draft selection and the No. 1 overall pick.

The Los Angeles Clippers, their opponent on Sunday, are playing for nothing, as they are locked into the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference.

OKC is going to be without just about everyone you can imagine in this game, as nine players, including Josh Giddey, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Tre Mann and Lu Dort are all out.

The Clippers will rest Paul George, Marcus Morris and Norman Powell on Sunday, giving us a real doozy of a matchup at the end of the night.

Thunder vs. Clippers Prediction and Pick

I don’t trust the Thunder, who have been blown out by everyone not named the Portland Trail Blazers lately, to cover against a Clippers team that will still have some rotation pieces in the lineup tonight.

The Thunder lost to a makeshift Lakers team by 19 in their last game, and of their last six losses, all of them have come by six or more points, with three exceeding 18 points.

That being said, I think the UNDER is the play here, as both of these teams are in the bottom six teams in the NBA in offensive rating with OKC ranking 29th and the Clippers ranking 25th.

This is going to be an ugly game offensively, and it’s worth noting that the Thunder have scored 101 or fewer points in four of their last five.

Lean: UNDER 217 (-108)
