The Portland Trail Blazers have some good vibes coming back home to the Moda Center when they host the Minnesota Timberwolves at 10 p.m. ET this evening.

Portland is coming off a 4-2 road trip, with solid wins over squads like the Celtics and Raptors in their last two games, getting big nights from multiple players like Jusuf Nurkic, Anfernee Simons and C.J. McCollum throughout.

Meanwhile, the Timberwolves return off one of their best victories of the season in a 136-125 win over the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday.

The T-Wolves have won already one time in Portland to end an eight-game skid. Can they grab another this evening?

Timberwolves vs. Blazers Prediction and Pick

Perhaps the most impressive note from the Blazers' 4-2 road trip is that they won 2/3 of their road games this season over the last six games. While it would logically make sense that they come back home (where they've played much better this season) with some added confidence and a bit of momentum, you can't sleep on Minnesota either after their impressive win against Brooklyn.

That's why rather than take a side, I'm going to move towards the OVER, which has actually moved up several points from its original number of 227.5.

The Timberwolves play with the fourth-highest pace in the NBA, and seem to really play up to it away from home. Minnesota averages 114.9 points on the road, and gives up 115.2 on the road. At home? They average 107.1 points at the Target Center and give up just 104.8 per game.

It's also worth noting that the Timberwolves have an over record of 17-6-0 this year on the road, hitting that clip just under 74% of the time.

With Portland playing better overall, and Minnesota looking to push tempo through a larger sample size away from home, the over is very much in play.

LEAN: OVER 232.5 (-110)
