Timberwolves vs. Warriors Prediction and Odds (Golden State Dominates at Home)
By Peter Dewey
Have the Golden State Warriors rediscovered their form from earlier this season?
Steph Curry is still slumping, but Steve Kerr switched up Klay Thompson’s rotation in the team’s win over the Dallas Mavericks, and Klay responded with 15 points and six dimes while shooting 6-of-12 from the field.
Now, the Warriors host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday night as they try to keep the pace in the Western Conference.
Here are the latest odds for this matchup via WynnBET:

Timberwolves vs. Warriors Prediction and Pick
The Warriors have been elite as a home favorite this season, covering the spread in 16 of their 26 games (16-8-2) when favored at Chase Center.
Minnesota is playing some solid basketball at the moment, winning four of its last five games, but I think the Wolves may have a hard time with Golden State’s No. 1 defense.
The Warriors don’t push the pace as much as you’d think (13th in the NBA), but the Wolves are going to try and run (fourth and pace) to get some easy baskets. With that strategy the Wolves are 18th in the NBA in offensive rating.
If Golden State slows this game down and can settle in on defense, this may be a tough game for Minnesota. I’ll back the Warriors to stay strong at home and hope Curry has a bounce-back game.
Lean: Warriors -6 (-110)
