The Tennessee Titans and Kansas City Chiefs will face-off in the NFL Week 9 edition of Sunday Night Football.

In this article, I'm going to be talking betting props, which are always exciting to wager on in a prime time game.

Let's jump into them.

Sunday Night Football Best Prop Bets for Titans vs. Chiefs

  • Derrick Henry UNDER 88.5 Rushing Yards (-110)
  • Patrick Mahomes OVER 280.5 Passing Yards (-110)
  • Chris Jones to record a sack (+148)

Derrick Henry UNDER 88.5 Rushing Yards (-110)

Derrick Henry is averaging 107.9 rushing yards per game this season, which may lead you to betting on the OVER tonight, but I would recommend going the other direction. The Titans have largely played against bad rushing defenses, but now they take on a Chiefs team that has thrived in that area this season.

The Chiefs rank seventh in opponent yards per carry, allowing just 4.2 yards per rush. Also, the Titans are big underdogs so I expect them to get into a negative game script earlier than they'd like, which will cause them to abandon the run.

Patrick Mahomes OVER 280.5 Passing Yards (-110)

Patrick Mahomes is averaging 308.4 passing yards per game this season, and I expect him to go over 300 yards against tonight. The Titans rank 23rd in opponent yards per pass attempt, allowing opposing teams to average 7.0 yards per throw.

Also, 74.08% of the yards gained against the Titans this season comes through the air, which is the second most in the NFL.

Chris Jones to record a sack (+148)

The Titans offensive line has been bad this year. They're 29th in QB sacked percentage, allowing a sack on 9.6% of quarterback drop backs. Meanwhile, Chris Jones already has five sacks on the season, including three over his last two games.

The Titans will likely be turning to the pass in this game to try to keep pace with the Chiefs offense. If they do, there will be plenty of opportunities for Jones to record a sack.
