The Steelers desperately needed their bye week to come as they limped in at 2-6 after getting pummeled by the Eagles. Though what Pittsburgh needed even more than the bye was TJ Watt to return to the field.

Pittsburgh gets him back this week and maybe last season's Defensive Player of the Year can save the Steelers. The Saints don’t have any help coming at 3-6, but lucky for Dennis Allen and Andy Dalton, they play in the worst division in football.

2-6 vs. 3-6 actually has some intrigue in Week 10, so let’s check out the odds and see if TJ Watt’s return caused any movement this week.

The Steelers originally opened as 1.5 point favorites at home, but even with Watt’s return official, the line has swung the other way.

Saints vs. Steelers Prediction and Best Bet

Kenny Pickett has not been good for the Steelers this year. He is completing 67.9% of his passes, but the silver linings end there. He has two touchdowns to eight interceptions and his only win came in a game where he was knocked out and Mitch Trubisky played a stellar second half. Things are not looking good for the Steelers first round pick.

The Saints offense isn’t really anything for Pittsburgh to aspire to. The Saints are sticking with Andy Dalton at quarterback and don’t have their first round pick next year, so New Orleans is trying to win games. At least the Saints have scored 23.6 points a game this year and are still in the playoff picture. With TJ Watt back, they will struggle to score and Watt will live in the backfield.

In games TJ Watt has played for Pittsburgh, it's 52-24-2 and hold opponents to 20.4 points per game. Kenny Pickett hasn’t proven he can win games, so I can’t ride with Pittsburgh, but I will trust their defense to keep the score low.

Pick: Under 40.5 (-110)
