Toledo vs. Bowling Green Prediction, Odds, Spread and Over/Under for College Football Week 11
By Matt De Saro
Wednesday night Mid-Atlantic Football continues in Week 11 with an East versus West matchup with the Bowling Green Falcons and Toledo Rockets going head-to-head.
The Rockets enter this game ranked fifth in the MAC West and coming off a 52-49 loss to Eastern Michigan. The Rockets have lost three of their last four games and now sit at the bottom of the division along with WMU with 2-3 records in the conference.
Bowling Green is even worse off with a 1-4 record in the conference and occupies the basement of the MAC East with 2-7 Akron. On the bright side, the Falcons are coming off a 56-44 win over Buffalo as 13.5 underdogs last week.
While neither of these teams is heading to a bowl game, one can better their chances at not finishing dead last in the division.

Toledo vs. Bowling Green Prediction and Pick
Despite these two teams performing equally as badly, Toledo still has a significant edge. The Rockets opened as near double-digit favorites. Toledo is led by DeQuan Finn at quarterback who has totaled 1,185 yards and eight touchdown passes. Finn has given up just one interception in 2021 and has a pass competition percentage of 55.8.
Finn might be the leader of this team but Bryant Koback is their biggest weapon. The team’s top rusher has a total of 136 touches on the year with 830 yards to show for it.
His 6.1 yards per rush average ranks him 33rd in the nation. Koback is a dual-threat player who has added 21 receptions for 240 yards to his totals on the ground. His eight overall touchdowns lead the team.
This will be a problem for the Falcons who are the most rushed-on team in the nation. Care to venture a guess as to why? Spoiler alert. It’s because their rushing defense is awful, ranking 112th in yards per game allowed at 209.1.
I am not suggesting that Toledo has a top rushing offense. I’m merely stating that you don’t have to have one in order to beat Bowling Green. Koback is good enough to wreak havoc on this defense and give Toledo a win and cover.
Pick: Toledo -9.0 (-110)
