Toledo vs. Ohio Prediction, Odds, Against Spread and Over/Under for College Football Week 12
By Matt De Saro
The MAC East and West divisions clash on Tuesday Night at Peden Stadium when the Ohio Bobcats host the Toledo Rockets.
The Rockets (5-5) are having an up and down season but are coming off a very strong win over Bowling Green in Week 11. Dequan Finn threw three touchdowns and added two scores on the ground as Toledo crushed Bowling Green 49-17. The win brings the Rockets to an even 3-3 in conference play and still in the mix to win the MAC West.
The Bobcats had an impressive win of their own last week beating Eastern Michigan 34-26 on Tuesday night. Ohio is also 3-3 in conference play and third-ranked in the MAC East despite a 3-7 overall record. It was their second win in a row after beating Miami-OH 35-33 the week prior.
With just two games remaining on the schedule after this week for each team, they can ill afford a fourth conference loss.

Toledo vs. Ohio Prediction and Pick
Toledo’s offense enters this game at Ohio on Tuesday playing some of the best offense they have all season. It put up 49 points on Bowling Green and 49 the week before in a tight loss to Eastern Michigan. They were the team’s two highest-scoring games all season.
The major difference between the loss to EMU and the win over BGSU was the defense stepping up. Toledo lost after scoring 49 points to EMU because it allowed 52. But, Bowling Green managed only 17-points last week against a much-improved defense. The group racked up five sacks, 12 tackles for a loss, and five broken passes against Bowling Green.
Finn has been the catalyst for the offensive explosion since the redshirt freshman was promoted in Week 7. Over the last two weeks, Finn has thrown for 731 yards and six touchdowns and has eight rushing touchdowns this season.
The Rockets are not a one-dimensional offense and also have Bryant Koback leading the ground game. Koback has 121 yards and a pair of touchdowns in Week 11.
The Rockets have a very slim chance to win the division and will need to beat Ohio to keep pace with NIU and Central Michigan. I think with a better team, an offense that is clicking and more to play for, Toledo puts up big numbers again this week.
Pick: Toledo -5.0 (-110)
