The MAC Championship Game has quarterback questions on both sides, but one team is coming in with a ton more momentum than the other, will that be enough?

Ohio lost their star quarterback, Kurtis Rourke, two weeks ago, but made sure to lock up a title game berth with backup CJ Harris last week at home against Bowling Green, 38-14. The Bobcats are looking for their first MAC title since 1968 and will face Toledo, who has quarterback questions of their own after starter, Dequan Finn, left last week's loss to Western Michigan early with an injury.

With potentially two backups on the field, who has the edge? Let's check out the odds for the MAC Championship Game and find out:

Toledo vs. Ohio Prediction and Pick

Finn has been in and out of the lineup, so backup Tucker Gleason has plenty of experience under center this season, but he has been streaky to say the lease. He started two weeks at home against Toledo, passing for 329 yards in a 42-35 loss to Bowling Green as two touchdown favorites, throwing two interceptions. However, he showcased plenty of running abilities, taking 17 carries for 106 yards and two touchdowns.

Ohio's defense is below average nationally, 87th in EPA/Play, but they are far better against the run than the pass, 41st vs. 101st in terms of EPA. If Gleason is going to start and turn the ball over through the air, Ohio can establish their newfound ground game now that Harris is under center in place of Rourke.

The season long stats will show a completely different team as Rourke was one of the best passers in the Group of Five, but after he suffered a knee injury, the team has build their offense to Harris's strength as a runner, evident in his 65 yards and three rushing touchdowns against Bowling Green last week.

Toledo's defense is fantastic on a down-to-down basis, top 10 nationally, but they also are prone to allowing chunk plays, 117th in explosive rush defense, and struggle from stopping teams from scoring touchdowns from in close, 121 in red zone touchdown percentage allowed.

Ohio has a 7-1 MAC record and didn't allow the Rourke injury to take them off their goal, routing Bowling Green. Meanwhile, Toledo has struggled with injuries under center and just lost two straight games as a favorite of a touchdown or more.

I'll ride the momentum and take Ohio to snap their 50+ year MAC Championship skid.
