Toledo vs. Ohio State Prediction, Odds, Spread and Over/Under for College Football Week 3
By Reed Wallach
Ohio State may have had a slow start to the season against a formidable foe in Notre Dame, but Week 2 looked more like it in dominating Arkansas State, 45-12.
The Buckeyes get another lower tier opponent in their Week 3 matchup, this time its MAC favorite Toledo, and are once again laying a massive number. Will Jaxon Smith-Njigba return to help C.J. Stroud and the Ohio State passing attack? The Heisman Trophy candidate didn't need his No. 1 receiver last week.
We'll break that all down below, but let's first check out the odds from FanDuel Sportsbook:

Toledo vs. Ohio State Prediction and Pick
JSN is expected back this week after he left early in the opener against Notre Dame, which helps lift the ceiling of the Ohio State offense, but they won't need to do much to get past Toledo.
The Buckeyes are plug and play at receiver, just look at last year with Marvin Harrison Jr, who hauled in seven catches for 184 yards and three touchdowns against Arkansas State in place of Smith-Njigba.
My favorite look in this one is the over though as Toledo is hoping to take a step forward with second year quarterback Dequan Finn. While this is a significant jump in competition, the Rockets scored 37 and 55 against LIU and UMass, respectively. The Buckeyes actually allowed Arkansas State to cross their 40 yard line six times in Week 2, but the team only scored two points on those tries. Against a better Toledo offense, I think we can see this team flirt with 20 or so points.
Toledo is going to play through the bitter end against a their in-state foe while Ohio State should hang at least 40+ on the Rockets. Give me the over in a game that should feature plenty of points.
