Tom Brady's Season-Long Props Suggest Another MVP Performance
By Joe Summers
The highlight of the wildest offseason in recent NFL history was Tom Brady retiring then quickly deciding he had unfinished business.
Brady is back for his 23rd season and third with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After setting career highs in completions, passing yards, and touchdowns (leading the league in all three), it's clear the seven-time Super Bowl champion still has something left in the tank.
WynnBET Sportsbook has released Brady's season-long props and they certainly believe he's primed for an outstanding season. In fact, the lines seem to suggest the soon-to-be 45-year-old will firmly be in the race for his fourth MVP trophy.
Brady Season-Long Props
- Passing Touchdowns: 35.5 (Over -110/Under-110)
- Passing Yards: 4300 (Over -110/Under -110)
On the surface, these lines may seem a bit low. Brady finished last year with 43 passing touchdowns and 5,316 passing yards, for crying out loud. He's eclipsed his touchdown prop in back-to-back seasons while surpassing 4,300 passing yards in nine of his last 11.
However, a closer look shows Brady is still ahead of the pack. Both of these lines are higher than the same props for Aaron Rodgers, Josh Allen, and Patrick Mahomes. So at the least, WynnBET expects Brady to have a better statistical season than all of his top rivals for MVP.
That must mean Brady is the MVP favorite, right? Not so fast! WynnBET currently has the MVP odds as follows:
- Allen (+600)
- Mahomes (+750)
- Brady (+900)
- Rodgers (+1000)
Leading the league in passing touchdowns and yards certainly doesn't mean you're a lock to win MVP. Brady lost out to Aaron Rodgers just last year. But it does create an opportunity for bettors to find value in the season-long awards race.
If WynnBET is correct that Brady is the most likely to lead the league in both major passing categories for the second-straight year, +900 is going to be a bargain by the end of the season.
Head on over to WynnBET to check out the season-long props and snag some value before it's too late. These may be the longest odds we have on Brady all year.
