After Arsenal and Crystal Palace kicked things off on Friday, the English Premier League is officially underway. There’s games going on all weekend, but some of my favorite matches are on Saturday.

Outside of Manchester City and Liverpool, who are expected to be the top 2 teams, there are still several great teams to back on Saturday. Let’s dive into the picks.

Everton vs. Chelsea Best Bets

Chelsea had issues with Everton last year, and I think they continue on the first full day of the season. The Blues tied 1-1 in the first matchup of the year and lost 0-1 in the second matchup. Everton wasn’t a great team, but it was able to keep the game low scoring and within reach at all times.

Unless Chelsea comes out and pounces on Everton, which really only happened against teams set for relegation, this game should be pretty bottled up.

Pick: UNDER 2.5 Goals (-120) ; Sprinkle on a draw (+295)

Leeds vs. Wolverhampton Best Bets

Despite Leeds finishing seven spots lower than Wolverhampton last season, they have several advantages. First, L.United is at home, which should give them a boost. Secondly, Leeds scored more goals and had more shots than Wolverhampton last season. Third, Leeds was able to win on the road last season against the Wolves.

With a fresh start to the season, Leeds’ offense should show up and win this game.

Pick: Leeds United ML (+130)

Manchester United vs. Brighton Best Bets

Even with all the drama surrounding Manchester United and Cristiano Ronaldo, there is still a lot of talent up front for the Red Devils that make me believe they can start the season off on the right foot. Marcus Rashford is likely going to be the lead striker for the Red Devils, providing immense speed up front.

Brighton won’t be easy, as it beat Man. U 4-0 at the end of last season. Still, there isn’t much Brighton is better than United in, so I’ll trust Manchester to start strong.

Pick: Manchester United ML -160
