We’re still in the early stages of the French Open, and BetSided knows its easy to get lost in the amount of matches going on. Well, we have your back.

Reed Wallach and Donnavan Smoot have previews of several of the top matches at Roland-Garros, but here are a few of their top picks for the second round.

All odds listed are via WynnBET Sportsbook.

Danielle Collins vs. Shelby Rogers Prediction and Pick

Collins is in the top 10 in the world for a reason. However, she will have to step up her defense in this match. She is saving just over 50% of break points and only winning 38.1% of return games. I do think she moves on easily though, continuing with her very solid year.

Collins made the final of the Australian Open in January and made it to the quarterfinals of the Miami Open two months ago. She’s made several deep runs this year and I wouldn’t be shocked if she made another deep run in this tournament.

Rogers did get the best of Collins in their most recent match. However, Collins has taken a big step forward since then, so I’ll back her to get revenge.  -- Donnavan Smoot

Lean: Collins -4.5 (-110)

Frances Tiafoe vs. David Goffin Prediction and Pick

Goffin enters in better form than Tiafoe, and I'm going to trust him considering his clay court prowess. While it's not his best surface, he does enter 6-2 on clay in 2022 with his losses coming to Jenson Brooksby and Rafael Nadal in three sets.

On the other side, Tiafoe entered the French Open 7-5, dropping his last 3 matches in straight sets before a straight sets victory over Benjamin Bonzi in the first round. I wasn't all that impressed by Tiafoe's performance, winning 7-5,-7-5, 7-6, and he will face a far stronger server in Goffin, who has been a top 10 player before.

While Goffin has been trending downward of late, he has more success on this surface by a wide margin. The victory over Bonzi was Tiafoe's first win at Roland-Garros. I'm going to trust the superior player to win as a decent sized chalk. -- Reed Wallach

LEAN: Goffin ML -150
