There's nothing like some daytime baseball in the middle of the week, so why don't we place some bets on it?

The BetSided crew of Iain MacMillan, Donnavan Smoot and Matt De Saro have you covered with their picks for these three games, via WynnBET Sportsbook.

Arizona Diamondbacks vs. St. Louis Cardinals Prediction and Pick

The Diamondbacks are in a good rhythm right now, but I think they get come back down to earth today. St. Louis snapped its losing streak yesterday, beating the New York Mets 10-5. Their offense finally showed up and I’ll back it against Humberto Castellanos.

Castellanos finally had a decent start in his last game, but prior to that, he hadn’t gone past 4.0 innings. He’s giving the Diamondbacks short innings, meaning he’s getting rocked early.

If the Cardinals and their above average offense can start the game off with a few hits, they will put a lot of pressure on Castellanos to be perfect. That won’t happen and runs will soon follow.

Arizona should be proud of themselves for winning the series against the Dodgers, but they aren’t a good baseball team. St. Louis will expose that tonight

Lean: Cardinals -1.5 (+115) -- Donnavan Smoot

Boston Red Sox vs. Toronto Blue Jays Prediction and Pick

I think Alek Manoah is a legitimate Cy Young candidate, and I think he's going to build on that resume today. He's 3-0 with a 2.00 ERA and a 1.000 WHIP through his first three starts, and now he gets to face a Red Sox team that ranks 18th in MLB in both batting average and OPS vs. right-handed pitchers.

Meanwhile, this will be Garrett Whitlock's second start in his MLB career. He came out of the bullpen for the Red Sox last year and showed fantastic stuff, but he's still not fully used to being a full-time starter in the Majors yet. It's going to be a tall task to get through this Blue Jays lineup a couple of times, and I'm not confident he'll get through it unscathed.

I'll back the Blue Jays to secure the series win at home today.

Lean: Blue Jays -146 -- Iain MacMillan

Seattle Mariners vs. Tampa Bay Rays Prediction and Pick

Not only have the Mariners been winning games, but they have been doing so with authority. In their three-game sweep of the Royals, Seattle scored a combined 23 runs. Add in game one of the Rays series and that number jumps to 31 on their last four.

Currently, Seattle has the 13th best batting average in the MLB and ranks third in runs scored per game. They are top 10 in hits per game, doubles, and RBIs and lead the MLB with 4.59 walks per game. Meanwhile, Seattle’s pitching staff has the fifth-best ERA, seventh-best walk rate, and ranks 10th in WHIP.

With the Rays having to rally behind their bullpen on getaway day, I like the value the Mariners' moneyline provides.

Pick: Mariners ML +121 -- Matt De Saro
