Top NBA Picks and Predictions Today (Nuggets, Warriors Primed for Road Wins)
By Peter Dewey
Looking to bet on the NBA on Sunday night?
There are a couple of matchups between playoff contenders with star power that should be fantastic games to watch... and bet on.
Here are two road favorites that I like to win on Nov. 13:
Denver Nuggets vs. Chicago Bulls Odds, Prediction and Pick
The Bulls are a confusing team to figure out this season, struggling on offense (20th in offensive rating) despite having Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan.
Last season, interior defense was a big concern for the Bulls, and that could be a problem with two-time reigning MVP Nikola Jokic on the opposing sideline. Jokic picked up a triple-double in his lone matchup against Chicago last season.
Denver has struggled against the spread (5-7 this season), but it has found ways to win games as Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. work their way back into playing shape after missing most of last season.
The Bulls certainly have the offensive firepower to keep up with Denver, but they haven’t shown it so far this season. I think Jokic and the Nuggets bounce back in this spot, especially with the Bulls down some scoring with White out.
Golden State Warriors vs. Sacramento Kings Odds, Prediction and Pick
The Warriors own the Kings, winning seven straight matchups, with their last loss coming in the 2020-21 season.
Curry has been arguably the best player in the NBA so far this season, dominating games in all facets even though Golden State’s supporting cast has struggled for most of the season.
Until Jordan Poole or Klay Thompson truly gets going, I don’t have enough confidence in this Warriors offense to lay the points with them on the road, but I do think they will win this game.
Both of these teams are bottom five in the NBA in defensive rating, so we should also see a ton of points in Sacramento.
