After a big 2-0 night on Thursday where we cashed on both underdogs, including the Blues at +200, I've gone a combined a 0-3 on Friday and Saturday night. That brings my NHL Playoff record to 30-29-1 (+1.99 units).

Gamblor givether, Gamblor taketh away.

Let's try to bounce back in a big way on Sunday, with three games on the slate.

All odds listed below are via WynnBET Sportsbook.

Florida Panthers vs. Tampa Bay Lightning Prediction and Pick

The Presidents Trophy winners are now facing a 2-0 deficit after dropping the opening two games of the serie son their home ice. Now they head to Tampa Bay in desperate need of a win.

Despite the two games of the series being relatively low-scoring, I think we're going to see things open up in Game 3. The two teams are in the top four this playoff round in high-danger scoring chances, with the Lightning averaging 13 and the Panthers averaging 11.5. The combined expected goals per game so far 7.02, so if we see something closer to what the advanced analytics have shown us in this series, we should be able to cash the OVER.

Pick: OVER 6.5 (+100)

Carolina Hurricanes vs. New York Rangers Prediction and Pick

The Hurricanes have proved themselves to be the better team in this series, so I won't hesitate to jump on them as just -120 favorites in Game 3 in New York.

The Rangers are averaging only 9.74 high-danger scoring chances per game, and their expected goals per 60 minutes is 2.42, which is the lowest mark amongst all eight teams in the second round of the postseason. The Hurricanes, on the other hand, have an expected goals of 3.43.

I see no reason to stop betting on Carolina.

Pick: Hurricanes -120

Calgary Flames vs. Edmonton Oilers Prediction and Pick

The Calgary Flames have had major goaltender issues so far this series, with a save percentage of 83.82, which is unheard of levels of bad. The Flames have been out-playing the Oilers, but it's hard to trust a Flames bet with how their goaltender has been performing.

Now, the only bet to make seems to make is the OVER 7 at +105 odds. The Oilers are having their way with the Flames goaltender, and Calgary is doing what it wants to do against the Edmonton defense. The Flames are leading all teams in the second round of the playoffs with 15 high-danger scoring chances per game. They also have an insane expected goals per 60 minutes of 4.27.

I expect plenty of goals tonight.

Pick: OVER 7 (+105)
