We're back with another fairly big day in the WNBA. There's three games scheduled for tonight, with the Sparks and Liberty running it back from yesterday. The squad went 3-1 on our picks last night, only missing out on the Aces-Mystics prediction.

There's three games on and we have bets for all of them. Let's get to it.

Best WNBA Picks For Tuesday, August 3

  • Dream -9 vs. Fever (-110)
  • Liberty -6.5 vs. Sparks (-110)
  • Lynx-Storm UNDER 161.5 (-110)

Fever vs. Dream Best Bets

I’m going to make this very simple. Take the Dream against the spread and don’t look back.

This is the fourth meeting between these two teams. Indiana has won all three games, covered in all three games and won by at least nine in the last two games.

The Fever are 5-27 on the year. Even with large spreads, which should get them to a decent ATS record, they are 11-21 ATS. This is a terrible season for Indiana, who is last in offensive and defensive rating. Trust the Dream to give the Fever their 15th straight loss in convincing fashion.

Pick: Dream -9 (-110)

Sparks vs. Liberty Best Bets

This is a no-brainer for me.

The Sparks are nearly 3.8 points worse per 100 possessions than the Liberty this season, and they have been horrendous since parting ways with Liz Cambage.

Los Angeles is just 5-10 on the road this season, and the Liberty are really starting to play better when they face lesser competition.

I can’t back Los Angeles as just a 6.5-point dog after last night’s blowout loss.

Pick: Liberty -6.5 (-110)

Lynx vs. Storm Best Bets

Despite being 12-19 on the season, the Lynx’s offense is humming. They’ve scored at least 84 points in seven of their last 10 games. The Lynx already score the fourth-most points per game in the league, which is why this total is above 160.

I was expecting a number slightly lower given how good the Storm’s defense is (2nd in defensive rating). However, I’ll gladly take this number and bet the UNDER.

Seattle is 5-5 against the OVER in its last 10 games and 16-15 on the season. The Storm are known for their great defense and grind-it-out pace, which tends to turn games into rock fights.

With Minnesota also in the bottom third of the league in pace (8th overall), this game sets up perfectly for the Storm’s defense to shine.

Pick: UNDER 161.5 (-110)
