We went 0-2 yesterday, with the Mystics scoring 92 points and leading the way for the OVER to cash and the Wings getting beat by 28 points. Our overall record is getting close to dipping below .500. Can we turn it around today, with some great games on the docket.

There’s only two games on today, with a defensive battle set to happen in Washington and a pick’em game in Minnesota. I’m ready to dive into the picks for tonight, so let’s get to it.

Best WNBA Picks For Tuesday, June 28

  • Sky -1.5 vs. Sun (-110)
  • Fever +7 vs. Mercury (-110)
  • Aces ML vs. Storm (+100)

Sun vs. Sky Best Bets

The Sky come into this game riding extremely high. They’ve won three straight, knocked off the Aces on the road and haven’t even lost consecutive games all season long. Chicago beat the Sun three weeks ago, and I think they’ll do it again.

The Sun are statistically the second-best team in the league. They are top 3 offensive and defensive rating and have the best net rating in the league. However, they’ve shown a little bit of inconsistency against other top teams in the league. On the road, I’ll back the Sky.

Fever vs. Mercury Best Bets

Phoenix has won two straight, with its last win coming against this same Fever team. However, with back-to-back games against Indiana, I’m going to back the underdog to make some adjustments.

Phoenix has a powerful offense, but is bottom three in defensive rating – leaving the door open for Indiana to get points on the board. The Mercury are 9-10-1 ATS, giving me hope Indiana can stay with them on the spread.

Aces vs. Storm Best Bets

If the Sun-Sky match isn’t the game of the night, then this game certainly is. The Aces are the best team in the league, but the Storm – despite coming off a loss to the Sparks – have been trending upwards after a poor start. Seattle is 6-2 in its last eight games, with four of those coming on the road. Now at home, they can certainly hang with the Aces.

However, they won’t be able to beat the Aces tonight. Las Vegas will have too much offense for Seattle. The Aces score the most points per game in the league while the Storm score the third-fewest points per game. Unless the Storm can figure out how to take the Aces out of their game and turn this game into a rock fight, this is Las Vegas’ upset to grab.
