We went with three UNDERs and an upset yesterday, going 1-3 on the day. There’s only one game on the docket tonight and it's a tri-state area battle. The Liberty are coming off a hard fought loss to the Seattle Storm, while the Sun are also looking to rebound after a loss. Even with a small slate, we have all the picks ready for you.

Liberty vs. Sun Best Bets, Prediction and Pick

We've got a Tri-State area rivalry game tonight, as both teams look to bounce back from rough offensive performances their last time out.

While the Liberty have had their fair share of struggles over the season, the Sun looked abysmal at Washington on Sunday, shooting 36.7% from the floor in a 71-63 loss. Connecticut had just 41 points after three quarters down 22 after the third quarter, and made the score look much more competitive after Washington punted on the final period.

I expect Connecticut to play much better in their return home, but New York has improved tremendously since the start of June. In May, they owned the league's worst net rating at -17.7. In June, they have the best in the league (6.9).

Both team's calling cards this season has been on defense, with each ranking in the top 5 in defensive rating since the start of the month. The Sun can put up points, but with each team ranking in the bottom half in pace, I'll back the defenses to make this lower scoring than the 162 on the board. – Ben Heisler

Pick: Sky vs. Aces UNDER 176 (-110)

The Sun have proven two things to me this season. The first is that they are once again a legitimate contender to win it all. The second is that they know how to beat up on bad teams, and the Liberty certainly fall into that category.

The two times Connecticut has been at least a double-digit favorite, it’s covered in both of them. The Liberty will be a formidable opponent – at least against the spread. New York is 8-8 ATS this season despite having a 6-10 overall record.

Nevertheless, when I look at the Sun, I see a complete team. They are second in offensive rating, fourth in defensive rating and first in net rating. All of this comes with them playing at an average pace as well.

The Liberty will have to play above their stripes to keep up tonight. – Donnavan Smoot

Pick: Sun-10 (-110)
