We’ve got a loaded four-game slate in the WNBA on Sunday, July 3, which means we get to make four best bets in today’s column.

The Connecticut Sun and Washington Mystics will face-off in the early game on Sunday, followed by the Seattle Storm and Sue Bird taking on rookie sensation Rhyne Howard and the Atlanta Dream at 3 p.m. EST.

The Sunday night slate will give us Sabrina Ionescu and the New York Liberty taking on the Los Angeles Sparks as well as the league-best Las Vegas Aces traveling to face the Minnesota Lynx.

Let’s jump into the odds via WynnBET and a pick for each game!

Washington Mystics vs. Connecticut Sun Odds, Spread and Total

Spread:

  • Mystics +7 (-110)
  • Sun -7 (-110)

Moneyline:

  • Mystics: +230
  • Sun: -290

Total:

  • 158 (Over -110/Under -110)

Best WNBA Bets Today for Mystics vs. Sun

This is the third time these two teams will face off this season after splitting their first two matchups.

Washington took the last game 71-63, and the Sun have been struggling as of late, losing three of their last four games, including losses to the below .500 Dream and Liberty.

Washington is very deliberate in its style, playing at the slowest pace in the league and posting the WNBA’s No. 2 defensive rating. The last game between these two teams landed on 134 for the total, and while I expect a bit more offense in this game, 158 seems a little high.

The Sun have gone below or exactly at 158 combined points in four of their last five.

Lean: UNDER 158 (-110)

Seattle Storm vs. Atlanta Dream Odds, Spread and Total

Spread:

  • Storm -5.5 (-110)
  • Dream +5.5 (-110)

Moneyline:

  • Storm: -225
  • Dream: +185

Total:

  • 157.5 (Over -110/Under -110)

Best WNBA Bets Today for Storm vs. Dream

The Dream are struggling after a hot start to the season, losing seven of their last 10 games and they lost by 12 to Seattle earlier this season.

The Storm are even scarier on offense with the addition of Tina Charles, who is still getting acclimated to the rotation after she parted ways with the Phoenix Mercury earlier this season.

Breanna Stewart, Jewell LLoyd and Bird are already a lethal trio, and I think they’ll be too much for a Dream team that has slipped out of its No. 1 spot in defensive rating this season.

Lean: Storm -5.5 (-110)

New York Liberty vs. Los Angeles Sparks Odds, Spread and Total

Spread:

  • Liberty +4 (-110)
  • Sparks -4 (-110)

Moneyline:

  • Liberty: +145
  • Sparks: -175

Total:

  • 163.5 (Over -110/Under -110)

Best WNBA Bets Today for Liberty vs. Sparks

This is the first matchup between these two teams this season, and New York is starting to play much better after a dreadful start to the 2022 campaign.

The Liberty are 6-4 in their last 10 games, and they actually have a better net rating than the Sparks. The Sparks are 8-11 and have the second worst net rating in the WNBA.

New York has been solid as an underdog against the spread, going 7-5, and it is also 5-3 ATS on the road.

The Sparks, on the other hand, are just 2-4 against the spread as favorites, and are just 3-4 straight up at home.

I’ll back the Liberty, who are playing better basketball at the moment, to at least cover in L.A.

Lean: Liberty +4 (-110)

Las Vegas Aces vs. Minnesota Lynx Odds, Spread and Total

Spread:

  • Aces -5.5 (-110)
  • Lynx: +5.5 (-110)

Moneyline:

  • Aces: -230
  • Lynx: +190

Total:

  • 174 (Over -110/Under -110)

Best WNBA Bets Today for Aces vs. Lynx

We have the worst team in the Western Conference (Minnesota) hosting the best team in the West (Las Vegas) and the spread is only 5.5?

The Lynx have lost seven of 10 and are a dreadful 3-7 straight up at home this season, yet they are sitting at the same number as Atlanta against Seattle?

I don’t buy it.

The Aces are 7-2 straight up on the road this season and 5-4 ATS. Moriah Jefferson did drop 23 on the Aces in Vegas in a one-point loss for the Lynx the last time these two teams faced off, but I can’t trust Minnesota at such a small number.

The Aces should have their way with this defense (No. 10 of 12 teams in the league) and pull out an easy win.

Lean: Aces -5.5 (-110)
