Playoff basketball is back on Sunday, as we have two key WNBA playoff Game 2s on the afternoon slate.

The Connecticut Sun dominated Game 1, winning by 25 points over the Dallas Wings with several players scoring in double figures.

In the Seattle Storm-Washington Mystics series, arguably the best of the postseason, we saw an elite Game 1 with Seattle pulling off a late win.

Let’s jump into today’s top picks and predictions, with odds from WynnBET

Dallas Wings vs. Connecticut Sun Odds, Prediction and Pick

  • Spread: Wings +11.5 (-110) | Sun -11.5 (-110)
  • Moneyline: Wings: +550 | Sun: -800
  • Total: 162.5 (Over -110/Under -110)

The Connecticut Sun are looking to close out their first-round series against the Dallas Wings after a dominant performance in Game 1 on Thursday.

Connecticut won by 25 points in Game 1, holding the Wings to just 68 points. Dallas struggled without star Arike Ogunbowale, who will miss the entire series with a core muscle injury.

Game 1 was about as cut and dry as it gets, with the Sun building a 10-point lead at the half and never letting up off the gas in the blowout win.

I don’t see things changing in Game 2, as the Wings simply don’t have the offensive firepower to compete with a Connecticut team that finished second in the WNBA in offensive rating this season.

Allisha Gray (17 points, five rebounds, two dimes) was solid in Game 1 for Dallas, but she simply can’t carry this team with Ogunbowale out.

If the Sun get another balanced offensive performance, this game should be over in a hurry. I don’t mind laying the 11.5 with Connecticut since it is 13-5 at home this season and has won eight of its last 10.

Lean: Sun -11.5 (-110)

Washington Mystics vs. Seattle Storm Odds, Prediction and Pick

  • Spread: Mystics +3.5 (-110) | Storm -3.5 (-110)
  • Moneyline: Mystics: +150 | Storm: -180
  • Total: 160.5 (Over -110/Under -110)

The best first-round playoff matchup didn’t disappoint in the WNBA, as the Washington Mystics and Seattle Storm played an absolute barnburner in Game 1.

The Storm came away with a three-point win at home, but the Mystics covered the four-point spread and were leading entering the fourth quarter.

I’m expecting another close game on Sunday in Game 2, as the Mystics’ defense can keep them in just about any battle.

One of the keys I thought for Seattle in Game 1 was the team’s offense over the final weeks of the regular season, as it ranked in the top three in the league.

However, Delle Donne (26 points), Ariel Atkins (16 points) and Natasha Cloud (16 points) showed they can hang in Game 1 offensively.

Game 1 was tied after the first quarter and never ended a quarter with a lead larger than three points. If we see another back-and-forth battle like that, 3.5 points is too much to give Washington in a game it very well may win

Lean: Mystics +3.5 (-110)
