The “W” got back in action last night, but apparently the BetSided team didn’t get the memo. We went 1-3 on our picks, with Ben Heisler’s first half OVER in the Mystics-Wings game being our only winner. 

Tonight, there’s only two games on the schedule. The top two teams are in action against some of the teams at the bottom of the standings. I have picks for both games, so let’s get into it.

Aces vs. Fever Best Bets

The Aces are 14-point favorites tonight, and that’s just too many points to lay. Las Vegas has been better since the All-Star Break, but the main thing I trust is its offense. The Aces have the best offensive rating in the league and average over 90 points per game. Couple that with the fast pace the Fever play at (No.1 in the WNBA), and you have a recipe for an explosive night from Vegas. 

I don’t expect the Fever to provide much scoring tonight, but they have a chance to stay close as the Aces’ defense is average (6th in the league). With the Fever’s last-place defense and the Aces’ top notch offense, the OVER seems like the only play to make tonight.

Liberty vs. Sky Best Bets

New York and Chicago have played twice this season and have split the meetings. The Liberty won the most recent matchup 83-80. Chicago has blown some teams out this season, including the Liberty at the start of the year. However, Sabrina Ionescu has found her rhythm and she’ll be able to keep New York afloat. This is the biggest favorite Chicago has been all season long. While the Sky are a great team and will likely win tonight, a big win feels like a bit much to ask.
