The break couldn't have come at a better time for Newcastle. They went from a team unbeaten for almost two months to losing two games in consecutive weeks. I will say though, that despite the losses, they were close games. And one of which was against a good team. Newcastle held third-place Chelsea to a single goal, and almost forced a draw with one of the best teams in the league. However, their other loss was to an Everton ranked 17th and fighting to avoid relegation.  

Tottenham is still targeting a top-four finish and I think will make quick work of Newcastle in this matchup. They have a ton of momentum and a lot more to play for than their opponents. Newcastle is pretty much safe from relegation at this point and has nothing to really play for. But, every match is huge for the Spurs down the stretch as they try to catch Arsenal on the ladder.
