Tottenham vs. West Ham Prediction and Odds (Hammer Have No Answer for Harry Kane)
By Matt De Saro
Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United finish off the weekend in Premier League action in what will be a big game on the ladder. These two teams are tied for fourth place and three points behind Arsenal. That lead could move to six points by the time this game eventually kicks off. Either way, a win here would be massive for both teams in their quest to qualify for the Champions League.
It is because of this that I think Tottenham and West Ham will be the game to watch this weekend. Here are the odds for the matchup courtesy of WynnBET.
Tottenham vs. West Ham Odds and Over/Under
3-Way Moneyline:
- Tottenham: -140
- West Ham: +390
- Draw: +295
Over/Under: 2.5 (Over: -140/Under: +105)
Tottenham vs. West Ham Prediction and Pick
One thing that these two teams share, along with a spot on the ladder, is that neither will be all that fresh heading into this game. This is particularly troubling for Tottenham as they struggle quite a bit when playing on short rest (less than six days between matches).
Despite this, the oddsmakers at WynnBET are expecting this to be a non-issue and have the Hotspurs as huge favorites here. I can't’ say I agree with this line, especially considering this is a home game for West Ham. Yet I do think Tottenham wins this match.
One major reason for this confidence is Harry Kane. For whatever reason, Kane has owned the Hammers in his 19 games against them. In those games, Kane has 11 total goals.
Because there is no real value on either team on the 3-way money line, I’m going to switch it up and take a player prop with my main play. Harry Kane is +310 to score a goal and based on his history, I feel great about his chances to find the back of the net.
PICK: Harry Kane +310 to score
