Trail Blazers vs. Nets Prediction and Odds (Nets By a Million)
By Joe Summers
Coming off a narrow loss to the Mavericks that snapped a four-game winning streak, the 36-34 Brooklyn Nets host the 26-42 Portland Trail Blazers tonight at 7:30 PM EST.
The Nets have covered the spread in four of five as Kevin Durant returned to the lineup, while Portland is coming off a 30-point loss to the Knicks and have failed to cover the spread in seven of their last nine.
Still without Anfernee Simons, the Trail Blazers beat the Nets 114-108 earlier this season, but Brooklyn is a much different team now.
Can the Nets get revenge behind a revitalized lineup, or will Portland keep it close for a road cover?

Trail Blazers vs Nets Prediction and Pick
This one is easy. The Nets have the NBA's best net rating and offense over the last 5 games and Portland has the worst in both. Kevin Durant is back at the height of his powers and the Trail Blazers are struggling to get to 100 points.
Look, if you can't cover against the Knicks then you're not going to cover against Brooklyn. This team is rolling on all cylinders right now and would have a five-game winning streak if not for a Luka Doncic miracle.
You stand to make a lot of money if you just keep fading Portland the rest of the season. I'm not going to overcomplicate things. The Trail Blazers are the worst team in the NBA right now and the Nets are playing like one of the best.
Portland is 1-5 against the spread in their last six as a road underdog and I think that trend continues. Give me Brooklyn in a blowout.
Pick: Nets -14.5 (-110)
