It's been a thrilling first three rounds at the Travelers Championship in Cromwell, Connecticut as we enter the final 18 holes today at TPC River Highlands.

Xander Schauffele entered the third round Saturday with a five-shot lead, but finds himself just one stroke ahead of Patrick Cantlay as he tees off this morning.

If you tailed my three outright bets from earlier this week, then you've got a +1800 ticket on Xander. Can the Olympic Gold Medalist hold off the field? Or will Cantlay, Sahith Theegala, or someone else make a charge?

Let's check out the odds from WynnBET and see what golfers we should back in this Travelers final round:

Live Odds to Win Travelers Championship

  • Xander Schauffele: +100
  • Patrick Cantlay: +130
  • Sahith Theegala: +1000
  • Kevin Kisner: +2500
  • K.H. Lee: +4000

Who Will Win Travelers Championship?

Xander Schauffele (+100)

I'll stick to my pre-tournament pick and think Xander pulls of his first regular season PGA Tour win since 2019. He was a "disappointing" 3-under par yesterday as Cantlay and others cut his five-stroke lead to just one, but Schauffele has still been the best in the field this week.

Xander leads all golfers in Strokes Gained: Total while ranking fifth in Strokes Gained: Putting and seventh in Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green. If Schauffele falters, it'll likely be due to his short game, as he ranks only 47th in Strokes Gained: Around-The-Green.

If you have a +1800 pre-tournament ticket on Schauffele, then I'd recommend just hedging on Cantlay. But if you don't, I still think he'll win today. He has just one bogey all weekend and has value at +100 with a one-stroke lead.

Patrick Cantlay (+130)

In my eyes, this is a two-horse race. I don't see Theegala, Kisner or Lee making up the difference on both Xander and Cantlay, so I think the smart play is to bet both Schauffele and Patrick and get some profit either way.

Now, if you do have that Xander pre-tournament +1800 ticket, just lock in some profit and grab Cantlay, who was sensational yesterday.

Cantlay shot 7-under par in Round 3 to storm back into contention and gained a ridiculous 3.78 strokes on the field in Approach. He's been the most balanced player at the Travelers, though he's T75 in driving accuracy with only 27 fairways hit out of 42. If he can find more fairways, that one-stroke deficit will vanish quickly. But if he doesn't, Xander's accuracy may be too much to overcome.

Either way, I recommend just grabbing both golfers and enjoying two of the best players in the world duke it out in a fantastic final round.
