Trevon Diggs, Several Key Cowboys OUT vs. Eagles, Spread Drops

The Dallas Cowboys have already locked up the NFC East and will be hosting a playoff game next week, but before that face another playoff team in the Philadelphia Eagles on Saturday.

Both teams are on track to enter this game short handed which has led to a volatile betting market. However, the Dallas news is worse at this point given their Friday injury report.

#Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs (illness), S Jayron Kearse (hamstring) and RB Tony Pollard (foot) will not travel with the team to Philadelphia, and all have been ruled out for the game.

This comes on the heels of the news that the team will also be without star rookie Micah Parsons and offensive lineman Tyron Smith as well.

Given that the two stars went on the COVID-19 list on Thursday, both figure to be out for Saturday's meeting in Philadelphia.

After reaching as high as -7.5 during the week, this line has plummeted back down to Cowboys -4.5 at WynnBET Sportsbook with a total of 43.

Meanwhile, the Eagles appear to be short handed as well after placing several key contributors on the COVID-19 list earlier in the week, but some of those players can be activated ahead of Saturday.
