Tulane vs. Kansas State Prediction, Odds, Spread and Over/Under for College Football Week 3
By Joe Summers
Tulane and Kansas State are both off to excellent starts in the 2022 campaign, with the Green Wave winning their first two contests by a combined score of 94-10 and the Wildcats doing so by a total of 74-12.
Kansas State has legitimate Big 12 title aspirations and finds itself as sizeable a favorite in this Week 3 contest.
Can the Wildcats deliver to stay undefeated ahead of a critical clash with Oklahoma next week or will Tulane take advantage of a possible look-ahead spot to stun Chris Klieman's group?
Let's take a peak at the consensus odds before diving into the matchup:

Tulane vs Kansas State Prediction and Pick
It's tough to get a read on Tulane. On the one hand, the Green Wave allowed a total of nine completed passes through two games. On the other hand, those two matchups came against UMass and Alcorn State. To put it lightly, those programs aren't quite on Kansas State's level.
Besides, the Wildcats' passing attack isn't what you need to be worried about. My favorite running back in the country, Deuce Vaughn, is who gives opposing defenses nightmares.
That stellar rushing attack is something Tulane can't possibly be ready for. How do you prepare for a turbo muscle hamster skating through defenders with the grace of Michelle Kwan?
Watching Vaughn gives me joy, and I think he gives Kansas State a huge edge. Tulane is already a dreadful road team, losing seven straight overall and winning just twice in its last 30 as a road underdog, and this Wildcats squad looks ripe for a huge season.
As long as Kansas State stays focused and doesn't look ahead to Oklahoma, it should win going away. The Wildcats are 6-2 ATS in their last eight games as home favorites, covering in the wins by an average of 14.25 points per game. I'll trust Klieman to keep his team mentally prepared and maintain its impressive stretch of play.
