Tulsa vs. Memphis Prediction and Odds for College Football Week 11 (Golden Hurricane Poised for Upset)

The MAC isn’t the only conference that gets to own the middle of the week. The AAC has a good game coming up on Thursday when Tulsa travels to Memphis. While these two teams might be near the bottom of the conference, Memphis has certainly hung around with the top teams in the conference this season.
Just last week they lost 35-28 to UCF to drop to 4-5, but UCF needed two fourth quarter touchdowns to take it. Tulsa was no match for Tulane as the Golden Hurricane fell 27-13.

Tulsa vs. Memphis Prediction and Pick
Memphis has been an over machine this season. The over is 8-1 when the Tigers play. They have the 33rd scoring offense in the nation and Seth Henigan is the reason why. The Tigers don’t have much of a running game, their leading rusher is Asa Martin with 300 rush yards on the season. However, Henigan has thrown for 2,520 yards and 16 touchdowns to seven interceptions.
They could be in trouble this week because Tulsa only allows 176.4 passing yards per game, the 13th best in the country.. The Golden Hurricane are not far behind in passing offense, only averaging a few yards less than Memphis, but Memphis’s passing defense is 119th. Davis Brin has not played since October 29th and that means Braylon Braxton was at quarterback against Tulane. It’s unclear who will start this week, but Memphis’s passing defense is so weak that I’ll call my shot and take the upset.
