The Tulsa Golden Hurricanes are looking to win just their second game in the American Athletic Conference when they take on UCF on the road on Monday night. The Golden Hurricanes have been struggling all season and are 8-15 overall with a 2-10 record in the AAC. The UCF Knights, on the other hand, are 14-8 and sit in seventh in the conference with a 6-6 record in ACC play. The Knights are also coming off a win over Witchita State, 71-66.

Here are the odds for this AAC matchup, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.;

Tulsa vs. UCF Prediction and Pick

Tulsa got off to an awful start to ACC player after dropping seven straight, culminating with a 97-63 butt-kicking by Tulane. While they did turn things around briefly, two wins in 12 total games are nothing to be happy about. Predictably, Tulsa is also awful against the spread and is 2-5 ATS as underdogs at home, 2-5 after a win, and 5-7 in conference games. They are 1-3 ATS in their last four games and 2-4 ATS in their last six.

Tulsa hasn’t covered a game on the road since Jan. 4 at Memphis. And while UCF isn’t exactly an ATS powerhouse at 9-13, they are on a two-game ATS streak at home. The Knights have the edge on both offense and defense but their scoring is ranked 87th in adjusted efficiency and shoot 34.7 percent from deep. They are also a much better rebounding team and are extending possessions with 32 percent of their shots being rebounded by UCF. The Knights do have a case of butterfingers with a 20 percent turnover rate but are facing a defense that ranks 296th in steals. They also rank 320th in blocks and allow more offensive rebounds than 272 other teams in the country.

Take UCF at home to win and cover, but I think it’ll be tight.

Lean: UCF -7.5 (-110)
