Twins vs. Guardians Prediction and Odds for Monday, June 27 (Take the Over in a Rematch of Last Week's Shootout)
By Josh Yourish
The Guardians' reign over the AL Central was short lived and Cleveland has now lost four-straight. Minnesota has reclaimed a two game lead after the Guardians were swept by Boston this weekend. The Twins on the other hand, took care of business against Colorado taking two of three.
This crucial five-game series in Cleveland will go a long way to deciding the AL Central champion and might be something to look back on in September.
Game 1 features Tristan McKenzie and Sonny Gray.

Twins vs. Guardians Prediction and Pick
These two squads met up a week ago and Cleveland took two of three in the series. They were unable to complete the sweep. Though the Guardians did take Game 2 of that series, 11-10 and tonight is a rematch of that night on the mound.
Triston McKenzie went 4.1 and gave up six runs on nine hits. Sonny Gray went four innings and allowed four runs, but only three of them were earned. Both teams in that game cleared the total and yet it is set at 8.0 tonight.
On the year, Sonny Gray is 3-1 with a 2.53 ERA across 10 starts. His tenth season is shaping up to be one of his best and that is due in large part to his K/BB ratio. It had never been higher than 3.35 his rookie season, but so far this year he is at 4.60. A massive jump that explains the success.
McKenzie has pitched well this year too. He brings in a 3.51 ERA but a 4-5 record and 4.73 fielding independent pitching, are not great signs for the third year pro.
Regardless of how the Guardians have performed since that 11-10 victory on June 22, there has to be some value on the over tonight.
Pick: Over -110
