We've got late morning baseball from Boston as the Red Sox host the Minnesota Twins just after 11 a.m. ET on Patriots Day.

The Red Sox come off a resounding 8-1 victory on Sunday as the top of Boston's order collected six of their 11 hits against Minnesota, including helping to break through in the 8th inning. The Red Sox scored six of their eight runs to put Minnesota away late.

Today at Fenway Park, Dylan Bundy goes for the Twins to try and stop their two-game skid and even the series. He's opposed by veteran lefty Rich Hill, who went just 4.1 innings in his last start vs. the Detroit TIgers

Let's check out today's odds from WynnBET Sportsbook and break down today's early matchup.

Twins vs Red Sox Prediction and Pick

Despite Boston being the better team and having the edge at home in an unusual start time, I'm backing the Twins as an underdog on getaway day.

Despite finding the fountain of youth for the last seven-plus years, Red Sox starter Rich Hill is 42 years old and showed his age last time out; failing to get out of the fifth vs. the Tigers. His hard hit percentage was up over 21%; as the Tigers began to square up the ball the second time through the order.

Meanwhile, Dylan Bundy was excellent in his opening start of the season for Minnesota, going five shutout innings against the Mariners. He didn't blow anyone away with just two strikeouts, but pitched to contact well, didn't walk a batter and gave up just one hit.

The Red Sox know Bundy well; led by Xander Bogaerts with a .333 average, 3 home runs and 8 RBI driven in against the veteran right-hander, but perhaps Bundy has found something in his new home.

While I like Bundy to continue to pound the zone and keep the ball down, I also like the Twins because Carlos Correa is close to breaking out of an early slump to start the season. Via MLB Statcast,Correa leads the Twins in hard hit percentage (58.8%), but is only hitting .133 on the season He also crushes left-handed pitching.

I'll back him to leave the yard in a close, competitive game that spoils some of the Patriots' Day festivities.

LEAN: Twins +127
