Twins vs. White Sox Prediction and Odds for Wednesday, July 6 (Joe Ryan Provides Great Value on Minnesota to Cover)
By Matt De Saro
Two AL Central rivals go head-to-head this afternoon when the Minnesota Twins and Chicago White Sox close out a three-game series at Guaranteed Rate Field.
Chicago just can’t seem to stay above .500 or make much headway in their hunt for another division title. After getting swept by the Twins early in the season and losing Game 1 on Monday, the White Sox are 0-4 outright against Minnesota.
Here are the odds for this game with odds from WynnBET.

Twins vs. White Sox Prediction and Pick
Joe Ryan was one of my dark horses to win the Cy Young in 2022. At 6-3 with a 3.00 ERA and 1.05 WHIP, he might not be in line for a run at this point. But, he’s still incredibly talented and coming off a strong rebound game. Ryan missed some time early in June, and when he came back things just didn’t look quite right. In three starts last month, Ryan struggled with a 5.74 ERA in 15 ⅔ innings with 11 strikeouts and four home runs allowed.
Despite this, a date last week with the Baltimore Orioles might have been the spark Ryan needed to get back in the groove. He spun seven innings of two-hit ball with seven strikeouts and one walk. It was his best start in more than a month and the first time he went seven innings since April.
To make matters worse for the White Sox, their offense continues to struggle and ranks 20th in runs scored per game. Chicago ranks fifth in batting average but lacks the power to drive runs home when runners get on base. While their offense struggles to score runs, I believe that Lance Lynn will struggle for Chicago on the mound as well. With a 4.50 ERA in four starts this year, Lynn is a placeholder, not a long-term option for the White Sox.
Pick: Twins ML (+100)
