The Houston Texans' first win of the season came back in Week 1 when Tyrod Taylor was the starting quarterback. Despite having not played since the middle of Week 2, he could be on the field for Houston's second win in Week 9.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Taylor is expected to get the start on Sunday when the Texans travel to Miami to face the Dolphins. The line initially opened at Miami -7, but in light of the Taylor injury update, the odds have shifted towards Houston, moving the line to 6.5.

Taylor has been excellent in limited action this season, going 31 of 44 for 416 yards, completing 70.5% of his passes and throwing 3 touchdowns to 0 interceptions. Rookie Davis Mills has been inconsistent over his six-plus games of action; throwing for 1,357 passing yards with seven touchdowns to eight interceptions, averaging 193.9 yards per game.

After being knocked out of their road game at Cleveland, the Texans season went up in smoke, losing seven straight games to fall to 1-7. Then again, one could argue that Houston's season was likely over before it even began, as WynnBET had the Texans with the longest odds in the league to win the Super Bowl at +35000.

As for Week 9, both Peter Dewey and Reed Wallach are backing Houston to knock off the Dolphins at +210 on the moneyline in their favorite upset picks of the week at BetSided. Meanwhile, our Iain MacMillan discussed his love for the Texans on the latest episode of "Bet and Breakfast," the new BetSided podcast.
