UAB vs. UTSA Prediction, Odds, Against Spread and Over/Under for College Football Week 12
By Matt De Saro
Heading into Week 12, the No. 23 UTSA Roadrunners are only one of three unbeaten teams remaining in the nation. No. 1 Georgia and No. 5 Cincinnati are the other two.
The Roadrunners secured their most recent win beating Southern Miss 27-17 in a comeback victory, and arguably the closest that UTSA came to losing a game all season. With just two games left in the season, UTSA will do all they can to maintain their perfect season heading into their last game against North Texas in Week 13.
UAB, meanwhile, is in the midst of a very good 7-3 season, currently 2nd in the C-USA West. So, this game will not be a cakewalk for the Roadrunners. UAB comes off a 21-14 win against Marshall and will be gunning for an upset win to spoil their rival’s season.

UAB vs. UTSA Prediction and Pick
There is no denying that the Roadrunners possess a powerful offense that has led them to the undefeated season they are currently enjoying. The Roadrunners rank in the top 17 in yards per game and points per game. Their defense had been suspect but have begun to play a lot better and make this team even that more dangerous.
The UTSA defense has played harder recently and now ranks No. 23 in the nation in opponent's points per game. They are particularly proficient at stopping the run and rank fourth in the country in opponents yards per rush at 2.7.
This is not going to be a letdown game for UTSA. That game won’t happen during the regular season and I think they finish the season with a flawless record. What that means for their future after the regular seasons remains to be seen, but I am not among bettors who are under the impression this team will “fall back to earth.”
It’s Week 12 and there will be no more stumbles after last weekend for UTSA.
Pick: UTSA -5.5 (-110)
