UCLA vs. Arizona State Prediction and Odds (Bet the Road Favorite)
By Matt De Saro
Saturday night brings us an interesting Pac-12 showdown between the No. 3 UCLA Bruins and Arizona State Sun Devils. While both play in the same conference, that is where the similarities end between these two starkly different programs.
Starting at the top and working down, let's begin with the 16-3 Bruins. First off, they are playing angry tonight after losing in their last game to No. 7 Arizona 76-66. Their only other losses this year came against then No. 1 Gonzaga and an unranked Oregon Ducks team. The loss to Arizona snapped a six-game win streak and left them second in the Pac-12 with an 8-2 record in conference play. Down but not out, UCLA is a danger to go off tonight.

UCLA vs. Arizona State Prediction and Pick
The Bruins will look to regroup tonight after Thursday's upsetting loss to Arizona. It was just their second loss in conference play after the Oregon loss and was the first game since Jan. 20 that they failed to cover. Arizona is a very good team who was out for revenge after losing previously this year to UCLA. I am not going to overreact to that loss. Before that game, UCLA was on a four-game ATS win streak including an upset win over Arizona on Jan 25. UCLA is also my favorite type of team. A well-balanced one. They rank 30th in the nation in scoring offense and 46th in scoring defense. They rebound well, distribute the ball effectively, and don't foul a ton. Even better, they take care of the ball and are ranked third in the nation in turnovers per play.
Arizona State, meanwhile, ranks 331st in scoring offense and 137th in scoring defense. They are also the third-worst team in the entire country in defensive rebounds per game. Their field goal percentage, three points shooting, and free throw shooting are all awful and I don't see them competing in this game.
Lean: UCLA -10 (-110)
